1Who provides this service

Creating a Premier League account means you accept these terms.

2What COTA90 is

COTA90 is a free competition of skill about the performance of Premier League footballers. Each player has a price that rises or falls after every match, according to what he did on the pitch, measured against what was expected of him.

Competing is free: you deposit nothing and we never ask for a card. It is a competition of football knowledge: the ranking depends only on how players actually perform.

3Who can take part

4Your account

Your Premier League account is separate from any COTA90 La Liga account, even with the same email: it has its own registration, password, portfolio and leagues. The details you give must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity from your account. You may close it at any time by writing to hola@cota90.com.

5Virtual money is not money

COTA90 gives you £5,000 in your portfolio. It is virtual money: it has no cash value, cannot be exchanged, transferred or withdrawn, and is not a deposit or a balance owed to you. It is only for competing on COTA90.

7Prizes

Prize competitions will be announced before they start, each with its own rules: who can enter, the prizes and how winners are verified. Until one is announced, there are no prizes.

8Fair competition

Creating more than one account, using automated tools, exploiting faults or coordinating with others to affect the ranking is prohibited. We may void results and close accounts that break this rule, with no entitlement to a prize.

9Where the data comes from

Match data comes from licensed data providers and is checked before use. Prices are produced by our own model, which compares what each player did in a match with what was expected of him before kick-off.

COTA90 is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by The Football Association Premier League Limited or any club. “Premier League” is used only to describe the competition, and club names, crests and player names only to identify the clubs and players.

10Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted. We may change these terms; where a change matters we will tell you by email in reasonable time.

11Liability

The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that third-party data is free of error. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12Intellectual property

The COTA90 name, the site, its design and the valuation model belong to the company. Third-party marks belong to their owners.

13Governing law

Spanish law applies. As a consumer you keep the protection that the law of the country where you live gives you. Where that law gives you the right, you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
